AHDA – Helping address Climate change in Redbridge

We are pleased to be listed on Redbridge’s Get Involved page as a local community group undertaking projects local residents can get involved in to help address climate change.

Our Clean up the Hatch Days with litter picking, managing the Dick Turpin Orchard, watching over Aldborough Hall Nature Reserve and protecting our Green Spaces all contribute to reducing climate change as well as being a great way to get to know your local community.

Over the last 4 years AHDA have planted some 6,000 bulbs! We will be adding more this year too. The Big Bulb Giveaway and planting weekend is coming up, 15th and 17th Oct 2021. Bulbs need to be planted in spaces that benefit the community such as public shrub beds and raised planters, within the grounds of schools, community and faith centres.
