A couple of interesting articles on the state and number of trees in London Boroughs and the effect on wildlife. The Evening Standard reports on the Earth Day Study showing how much of the capital is covered in trees. Redbrdge comes 25th out of 32 with only 16.93% coverage. Barnet is top with 27.1% coverage.

Over 100 silver canisters were strewn down Billet Road and across the pavement, a danger to roadusers, pedestrians and wildlife. We are delighted to say that Redbridge cleared this up within a day of it being reported. Thank you!

On 27/3/21 we were advised that building waste and felled trees has been dumped on the Aldborough Hall Nature Reserve. This has been reported and we understand it is being investigated. We would hope that those responsible restore the site to its previous state.

On 17/3/21 we were alerted to the ever increasing number of lorries using Hainault Road by local residents. Hainault Road and Billet Road have weight restrictions, however over the last 10 months the number of lorries exceed the weight restriction has increased substantially made worse by much of this being in the early hours 3am
