London City Airport growth plans consultation – more flights for longer
London City Airport want to reduce the weekend ban resulting in flights on a Saturday up to 10.30pm. Meaning more flights over Aldborough Hatch and surrounding areas.
According to HACAN East they want even more planes to fly between 6.30pm & 7am and 10pm to 10.30pm.
No guarantee that expansion plans will end there.
The flightpaths to and from London City Airport can be seen here created by Hacan East as London City Airport does not publish one.
The poorly advertised 10 week consultation started on 1 July 2022. You can respond to the consultation at https://consultation.Londoncityairport.com/
HACAN East have produced a full briefing including an aid to responding to the consultation see here.
There will be a Public Exhibition at Redbridge Central Library, Clements Road, Ilford IG1 1EA Monday 18th July 3.30pm – 7.30pm.
If you value your weekend break from overhead flights you have the chance to say NO.
